while I haven’t been blogging much of late, stuff is still happening…

On Saturday, during the middle of a Tupperware party, the doctor examining my painful stomach pronounced that I had appendicitis and that I should go and present myself at an emergency ward.

some time in a bed, surgery, lots of IV fluids, needles, etc over the next 3 days and I am at home with doctors orders to rest and not lift anything including.

Micah is gradually beginning to understand that “daddy sore” as a response to “up, up” is ok for the moment. I just have to kneel for our cuddles at the moment.

This also means that momentum at my new job has taken a hit. Things have been great there and while being a steep learning curve and me feeling that I have “lost” a week, there are some things to research that I can get some time to look at.

We have passed through week 38 with baby two and so with me not being able to lift anything heavy for 6 weeks we are having to train Micah to climb into his own car seat and are thinking about all sorts of creative ways of doing life without lifting.
